Barbara Heile’s love of this life on earth is expressed through her use of color and light. Her subjects include all she sees in a day inside and outside of her home, as well as a more recent intuitive dialogue in paint with the Brothers’ Grimm fairytale “The Frog Prince.” Whether working outside directly from the landscape or inside from memory, drawings, photos, and intuition, she loves her job of loving the world as a visual artist. Rene Ruffner will be a guest artist at her studio, showing paintings inspired by a recent Italian journey.
