2007 marks Wagner’s 40th anniversary of graduation from art school and the beginning of his career of freelance illustrating. This year is a new beginning, in a new and wonderful home, with a goal of mastering oil painting. Wagner’s styles range from realism to impressionistic. Favorite subjects include Rappahannock landscapes, seascapes, nature, wildlife, and food (served with a side of wit!). His new jewel box/tree house home serves as a gallery for the best paintings of his 40-year career and the many new oils produced this year.
