Barbara Heile

Heile’s love of this earth is expressed through her use of color and light. Her subjects include all she sees in a day inside and outside of her home, as well as intuitive dialogues in paint. Her relationship with the process of painting and her enjoyment of the process is lightening as she steps out of the way. She continues to paint outside directly from the landscape or inside from memory, drawings, photos, and intuition. Arlen Sherwood and Tanya Roland will be showing their work at Heile’s studio on Tour weekend.
