About the Tour

The seventh annual Artists of Rappahannock Studio & Gallery Tour will be held Saturday and Sunday, November 5 and 6, 10AM-5PM, in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge.

The Tour begins at the Fire Hall in “Little” Washington, Virginia, where you will be able to view representative artwork from all the  studios and galleries and pick up a map with driving directions to all the locations. There is a $10 per person admission at the door.

The Tour takes you through the beautiful countryside of Rappahannock County. Please arrive early so that you have time to visit all the studios and galleries of your choice—the Fire Hall opens at 10AM both days. Although most visitors come for one day, touring the galleries and studios could easily take two days. Area B&Bs welcome you, but you will need reservations.

In 2009 the Tour was voted “Best Event” by the readers of
The Piedmont Virginian magazine. The Tour has also been featured on Virginia Living Television.

We are looking forward to seeing you here the first full weekend in November. Please be sure to say hello when you get to the Fire Hall!
