Overview
RAAC helps bring interesting and entertaining films to Rappahannock County at affordable prices. The RAAC movies are shown twice a month at The Theatre in Washington, VA during the fall, winter, and spring.

Duties & responsibilities

• Research and choose the movies shown.
• Contact movie distributors to acquire the film in proper format and in time to be shown on the date scheduled.
• Publicize each movie showing by producing fliers and writing a brief, original review of each film for publication in the Rappahannock News, on the RAAC website, and in the Rappahannock Community calendar of events.
• Buy popcorn, candy, and water to be sold at each movie.
• Sell tickets on the night of the movie.
• Make popcorn and sell refreshments at each movie.
• Clean the popcorn machine and vacuum the theatre after each movie.
