DESCRIPTION:Set in a town too small to be a town and too populated to be wilderness Almost\, Maine by John Carianiis a popular 2004 romantic comedy-drama. It is composed of nine\, loosely connected vignettes exploringlove and loss in a remote\, mythical town in northern Maine. On a cold\, magical Midwinter Night\,residents experience the literal\, magical\, and often humorous realities of relationships\, heartbreak\, andunexpected connections under the aurora borealis. \nPerformance dates are September 25\, 26\, and 27. After a table read of the script in June\, rehearsals willbegin in mid-July. \nAll roles are open for actors teen-aged to older adults. Auditions will be held on Sunday\, May 31 from2:00 to 4:30 pm and ON Monday\, June 1 (6:30 – 8:00 pm) (or by special arrangement with the director\,if necessary) at the Little Washington Theatre\, 291 Gay Street\, Washington\, VA. \nTo sign up for an audition click here.
