DESCRIPTION:RAAC’s next movie is the Oscar-winning film\, Emilia Pérez. The film follows a Mexican cartel leader–played by Karla Sofia Gascón–who aims to disappear and transition into a woman with the help of a lawyer–played by Zoe Saldaña. \nAmong its numerous accolades\, the film won Oscars for Best Supporting Actress (Saldaña) and for Best Original Song (“El Mal”)\, and Golden Globes for Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) and Best Foreign Language Film. Selena Gomez\, Adriana Paz\, Mark Ivanir\, and Edgar Ramirez also appear in starring roles. \nhe RAAC film is free\, but donations are welcome to offset production costs. SUMMARY:Summer Concert - Hawlin Callin’
DESCRIPTION:This ensemble is comprised of Rappahannock musicians who have played together for almost a half a century. Their songbook draws from a deep well of blues\, reggae\, backwoods country\, Americana\, classic rock\, and a little bit of bossa nova.  Band members include:  Robert “Smiggy” Smith on guitars and vocals; Vincent Day on guitar\, mandolin and vocals; Dinah Pherson on vocals; Andrew Carter on percussion; and Terry Waggener on bass.
