Hawlin Callin’

This new ensemble came together last winter during a jam session at  Smiggy’s Old Hollow studio. Comprised of Rappahannock musicians who have played together for  almost half a century, their songbook draws from the deep well of blues, reggae, backwoods country,  Americana, classic rock, and a little bit of bossa nova. Band members include: Robert “Smiggy” Smith on  guitars and vocals; Vincent Day on guitar, mandolin and vocals; Dinah Pherson on vocals; Andrew Carter  on percussion; and Terry Waggener on bass.
